A Day in the Life of a Swagelok Order

Every wonder how a Swagelok part gets from us to you? It takes less than a minute to watch it happen!

You send us an order, and the parts show up at your door. It's so reliable and fast that you probably don't even think about it, which is exactly how we like the process to work.

But it's still fun to watch what happens between the time you place the order and the time you open the delivered package. A lot of people are involved, and they deserve some recognition. We've produced a short one-minute video showing what they do and how they do it:

* Every phone call to Edmonton Valve & Fitting is answered by our receptionist, Melodie Reid. She connects each customer with the assistance they need – whether it’s sales, customer service, warehouse, or shipping.

* The call is transferred to customer service and our customer service representatives help the customer establish what they need. Then, the order is typed into our computer system and printed out for the warehouse crew.

* Our warehouse associates pick, label, and package the product. The associates also check and double check the order to ensure accuracy – and make sure you get what you need, when you need it.

* The order can be shipped same day using the courier of the customer’s choice, or customers can choose to pick it up at our shipping desk at their convenience. We also have a variety of inventory services available to our VIP customers.

When we call it "A Day In the Life," we aren't kidding. Almost all in-stock orders are shipped the same day they come in, and we have an order accuracy of 99.41 percent.

So every time you place an order with us, you can appreciate how many people impact the orders we send out everyday. Speed, accuracy, and careful attention to detail are our highest priorities. Don't worry - we'll take care of everything.
