FAQ: How Fast Can You Deliver a Custom Fluid System Assembly?

With our in-house experts, large inventory, fully equipped shop, and decades of experience, we are efficient. Safety and reliability are the top priorities.

"Simple assemblies are a minimum of 2 days, if we have everything in stock," says Edmonton Valve's Custom Solutions & Services Manager, Tristian McCallion. "A simple panel is usually a couple of weeks. A more complex panel can be 3 to 6 months to get all the parts in and build."

We have a local full-time dedicated Custom Solutions team that includes fluid system design experts, certified assembly technicians, and other certified professionals. Delivering a fully built, leak-tight custom assembly takes between a couple of days and a few months.

Our process starts with making sure we fully understand your needs, including time pressure. We also factor in whether you need any testing beyond the pressure testing we do on every assembly before it leaves our shop.

To minimize completion time we can check our inventory before finalizing the assembly design. We can pull from our large local inventory but sometimes we need to get additional components.

When we say simple assemblies, we mean projects like:

  • Hose Assemblies—local assembly of hose with dozens of end connection options
  • Tube Bending—stainless steel tubing of 1/4" to 1" bent to any angle, up to 42" radius
  • Regulator Assemblies—built for safety, easy installation, and intuitive operation
  • Steam Lances—choose hose insulation, handle type, and other features
  • Seal Plan Kits & Assemblies—each designed for a specific seal and process conditions
  • Tube-in-Tube Coils—sample cooling systems with higher flow vs. prepackaged options
  • Filter Retainer Assemblies—one-piece assembly replacing separate "circlip" design
  • Sample Cylinder Assemblies—available in ten standard sizes; purge bypass options

We are not promising a turnaround of the above assemblies in some number of days. Complexity, volume, inventory, projects underway, and other factors affect turnaround time. (Tube bending, for example, can be complex. Making dozens of copies of a steam lance adds time. If you need enclosures, racks, or covers, we need time to fabricate them...)

"Over the last many years, our team has grown with their experience and expertise, says Tristian. "We are always ready for the next challenge and look forward to helping our customers with their assembly needs."
