The Custom Solutions team at Edmonton Valve and Fitting builds analytical subsystems, gas distribution systems, grab sampling systems, hose assemblies, regulator assemblies, and much more. Consultation, fabrication, and pressure testing are included. Your assembly arrives ready to install, and is covered by the same warranty as our individual parts. We can advise on installation and maintenance too.
Before fabrication, we check over your design or collaborate with you to create one. We can fabricate anything with fluid system components on it, such but not limited to custom shelters, test headers, tube in tube coils, gas distribution panels and bottle racks, pre-bent tubing, and hose configurations. Then every assembly undergoes at least one pressure testing before leaving our shop.
Our testing capabilities add significant value for customers. We can leak test with hydro, pneumatic and helium leak test equipment. We offer tighter testing tolerances than traditional leak tests — testing down to 1x10-6. This capability is especially important to process analyzer specialists or anyone overseeing a very hazardous gas or application. Because we handle the processes in-house, we have flexibility when it comes to modifying valves, doing repairs, and the like. etc. We can even take a unit into the field for testing.
Please get in touch if we can answer any questions. Just click below and share a little information, or call 780-437-0640. No project is too large or too small, and we may be able to help even if lead time is short.
In addition to 6,500+ standard parts for industrial fluid systems, Swagelok offers locally built assemblies. Each is expertly engineered to be safe, low maintenance, and easy to operate. Our certified technicians build them to spec, including features such as enclosures, gauges, lock outs, labels, mounting brackets, and racks. They inspect and test your assembly, and deliver it ready to be installed.
We offer local assembly of Swagelok hose with any of dozens of end connections. Our work is precise and warrantied.
Our CNC bender can bend stainless steel tubing of 1/4" to 1", with any wall thickness, to any angle, up to 42" radius.
Our regulator assemblies are designed for safety, easy installation, intuitive operation, and low maintenance.
Remove ice with steam lances built by Edmonton Valve. Choose hose insulation, handle type, and other features.
Each of our seal support plans and kits is designed to address a specific mechanical seal and set of process conditions.
Our sample cooling systems handle challenging fluid, have higher flow, and cost less than pre-packaged options.
A one-piece assembly that replaces the separate "circlip" retaining ring, mesh and filter ring of the old design.
Cylinder assemblies are available in ten standard sizes, from 150 cm3 to 3,785 cm3. Customize with purge bypass tube.
If you can describe what you need an assembly to do, we can build something to do it. Starting with your design, a sketch, or just an idea, our certified experts propose a safe, reliable, economical solution. Our technicians build, inspect, and test your assembly, panel, structure, or enclosure. It arrives documented, warrantied, and ready to install. Reach us 24x7 with any technical questions during or after installation.
Our pre-engineered subsystems minimize footprint, simplify design, and promote accurate analytical results.
Provides a discrete switch between multiple process samples and conditions and selects process streams for analysis.
Designed for handling long transport lines from tap to analyzer; minimum pressure drop for fastest response time.
Preconditions a gas sample at extraction point. Configurable to match process conditions. Can mount to process nozzles.
Versatile manifold for gas and liquid applications. Highest quality components. Can be connected for longer lengths.
Our all-in-one systems deliver gasses to points of use. We configure them for your application and process conditions.
Swagelok grab sampling systems satisfy gas and liquid non-slurry sampling service in a consistent, reliable package.
Measure the concentration of key components in gas and liquid streams to maintain precise process control.
Some assemblies may incorporate non-Swagelok components. Each project is evaluated individually.
Yes. We make sure we fully understand your needs, including time pressure. With our huge warehouse onsite, there's rarely any waiting for components to arrive.
A fluid systems expert on our dedicated Custom Solutions team. Should a project warrant it, we can draw on 100 more Swagelok Engineers around the world. All are technical experts in fluid and sampling systems and have comprehensive knowledge of Swagelok products and their applications—including tubing, fittings, valves, and more.
We would 3rd party this service.
We build analytical subsystems, gas distribution systems, grab sampling systems, hose assemblies, regulator assemblies, and more. Capabilities include but are not limited to the following: Connecting tube fittings with valves, filters, hoses, etc. Assemblies with hose insulation, protection, assembly. Assemblies with threaded, VCR, VCO, welded, other seals. Assemblies with tapered and parallel pipe threads. Liquid-filling of pressure gauges. Assemblies using Modular Platform Components (MPC). Assemblies that incorporate wiring, automation, transmitters, relays, pumps, and other non-Swagelok components.
Some assemblies may incorporate non-Swagelok components. Each project is evaluated individually.
Swagelok-certified technicians who have undergone extensive training to ensure consistent precision fabrication and assembly.
Not at this time. We are focused on assembly and testing in our Edmonton shop.
For simple solutions, it may be hours or days. We can often help customers accelerate production and make tight deadlines. Keys include streamlined assembly designs, precise and efficient technicians, and having $10M worth of parts in our local warehouse.
Have questions before, during, or after installation and commissioning? We are happy to help. In addition to regular communication channels, we offer 24x7 Field Advisory Services On-Call Technical Support at 780-237-7109.
We can assign one part number for an entire assembly. Doing so reduces purchase orders and your time investment. And as your design is repeated, costs are minimized because it has been vetted by Swagelok engineers.
We can fabricate just about anything that has fluid system components on it.
We offer CNC, benchtop, and hand tube bending with various materials. Our CNC bender can bend stainless steel tubing of 1/4" to 1", with any wall thickness, to any angle, up to 42" radius.
Yes. For example, we build bottle racks. Our shop has all the equipment for each step required to deliver a total solution—like cutting, welding, and bending.
Not at this time. We are focused on shop fabrication.
Pressure testing is included. In addition to standard testing, we can do helium leak testing, hydrostatic testing, nitrogen pressure testing, and pressure decay testing.
You receive CAD drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, Bill of Materials, and warranty information. Our Product Test Reports provide exhaustive performance data, third party certifications, and approvals.
We can leak test and provide hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, and helium leak testing.
We have Swagelok Quality Systems (SQS), which defines processes and procedures. We have a certificate to practice from Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA), the pressure equipment safety authority for Alberta.

We follow a proven process to deliver a solution that exactly meets your needs — whether your need is large (i.e. hundreds of identical engineered-to-order assemblies) or small (i.e. one 90° bend in one piece of tubing). Consultation, professional design and assembly, and pressure testing are included. Your assembly arrives ready to install, and is covered by the same Swagelok warranty as our individual parts.
Share a scribble on the back of a napkin (we have received these by fax!) or CADs with detailed design. We can start from scratch or at any stage.
Short deadline? Tight space? Budget pressure? Maintenance access or regulatory compliance issues? We ask about needs large and small.
We've adopted a manufacturing process organized around a one-piece flow system. Instead of performing each step in batches, we now use an assembly-line system that increases efficiency while maintaining quality.
Swagelok assembly certification involves producing dozens of samples, each of which is inspected by Swagelok manufacturing engineers and put through destructive testing. Passing requires a 100% score.
In addition to standard testing, we can do helium leak testing, hydrostatic testing, nitrogen pressure testing, and pressure decay testing. And every Swagelok product, assembly, and solution comes with Swagelok's warranty.
We offer products built right and services that help maximize your return on investment. Here are six reasons customers choose us:
